    Ora Lee Anderson

    January 3, 1925 - January 15, 2022

    Ora Lee was born on January 3,1925. Ora Lee and her sisters Juanita and Annie Lou were the daughters of Virginia Robison and were born in Caddo Parish in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ora Lee enjoyed going to school as a little girl. Ora Lee loved the Lord and accepted Christ at a young age. Ora Lee married Mack Anderson and they moved to Michigan to a life together. To this union, two daughters, Carol Ann and Denise were born. Ora Lee worked briefly at Ford Moter Company but her pride and joy was taking care of her family. Ora Lee enjoyed taking care of her home and family. She took pride in her yard and flowers especially when she would cut her own lawn. Ora Lee cut her lawn well into her eighties. She also enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Pistons on television. Ora Lee loved going to church and praising the Lord. She was a faithful member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church in Westland, Michigan. During her membership at Beulah, was a member of the Sunday School, Nurses Guild and the Mother's Board. Ora Lee was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Robison and her sisters, Juanita and Annie Lou. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Carol Ann Anderson, Denise Rois, Monique Anderson and Angela. Seven granddaughters, LaShawn Toma (Danny), Georgya Anderson, Jennifer Anderson, Anja Vazquez (Angel). Care' Rois, Jada Fountain and Milan Fountain. Three grandsons, Anthony Espedido, Corey Fountain and William Springer. Eight great grandchildren, Justin Anderson, LaCayla Hamilton (Woody) Leah Corbin, Marcellus Phelps, Miranda Phelps, Gabriela Vazquez, Zoe Vazquez and Grayson Rios and one great-great granddaughter. Layla Hamilton and a host of nieces, nephews and family and friends. Ora also leaves behind to cherish her memory a devoted niece Florence Goodson and neighbor, Annie Hister.
