Lonnie "Bam Bam" Rucker Jr. was born on September 26, 1996 at Harper Hospital, to Pamela McCoy and Lonnie Rucker Sr. Lonnie attended the Detroit Public School System and completed his education by obtaining his G.E.D. He was a peace maker, and enjoyed making other happy. He loved helping the elderly out and spending time with his daughter, nieces, and nephews, he was a family man and loved spending time with his family. Lonnie was preceded in death by his father Lonnie Rucker Sr., grandfathers: Alonzo Cooper and Ernest Stewart, brother , James Lee; Uncle Alonzo Rucker. Lonnie's life came to a tragic end on August 22, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Pamela McCoy; his daughter, Ja'Lonni Rucker (Onni): sisters: Wendella (Wendy) and Shalon, brother Duane (Sleepy); aunts: Najah McCoy, Shirley Rucker, Jr., and Geraldine Rucker, uncles: Mario McCoy, Triche Rucker, Jerald Rucker, and Elliot Rucker; grandmothers: Katherine McCoy and Shirley (Bell) Rucker Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
