Stephanie Knox Obituary
Stephanie Ann Knox was born July 21, 1972, to Sylvester and Evelyn Knox. She was the youngest of six children and grew up in Inkster, Michigan where she was educated in the public school system.
Nicknamed "Punkin" at an early age, she became a member of Pentecostal Temple COGIC in 1978, where she sang in the Sunshine Choir and briefly attended Inkster Christian Academy.
Always the life of the party, Punkin's smile was infectious. Adventurous, curious, zany and fun loving are just a few of the words that describe her personality. She loved dancing and was often the first and last person on the dance floor.
In 2016, Punkin gave birth to her only child; her published, paperback novel "Urban Circle." Her passion for writing started when she began writing poetry at a young age. She dreamed of writing for film and television someday.
Punkin grew weary on May 3, 2019 and the Lord saw fit to call her home to rest. Her parents, Sylvester and Evelyn Knox preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: five siblings, Cynthia Bennett, Arlene Knox, Eric Knox, Christopher Knox (Jana), and Tracy Knox; ten nieces and nephews, Cornelius, Anthony, Kimberly, Nikki, Chauncey, Courtnie, Cortez, Donovan, Brandon, and Terrell; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
