Lillian Hatcher Obituary

Lillian Hatcher was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 12, 1945, to the parents of Jesse Lee Price Sr. and Carrie Mae Price. She was the fourth of 11 children. Lillian attended Romulus Public Schools and graduated from Romulus Senior High School. She later worked at The University of Michigan's Mosher-Jordan Hall Dormitory as a baker in food services. She also worked at K-Mart in food services.

Lillian was raised in a Chrisitan home and accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized and became a lifetime, faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Missionary Church. Over the years she used her culinary skills in the kitchen, served as an Usher, sang in the Pastor's Chorus and became a Deaconess. In 2006 Lillian was recognized by the National Christians in Action and Ben Executive Cars, who presented her with their Outstanding Woman in Christ Award.

Om August 3, 1974, Lillian married Albert Craig Hatcher. In addition to her husband, Lillian was also blessed with two sons, Mark and Timothy Hatcher. Lillian's family was completed with the birth of their son, Maurice Hatcher. Lillian was a faithful and devoted wife to Albert who will forever be grateful for her loving care.

Lillian enjoyed baking and her German Choclate Cake was a favorite of all who were fortunate to experience its goodness. She also enjoyed dancing, bowling, fishing, and playing cards and board games with her family. She loved professional football and thoroughly enjoyed attending her son and grandson's sporting events.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 49 9years, Albert Hatcher, her three sons, Mark (Nolana), Timothy and Maurice; her grandchildren, Desmond M. Hatcher and Maris M. Newton-Hatcher, her great-granddaughter, Kamela M. Slater-Hatcher, her siblings, Henry Price, Jessie Price Jr. (Jackie), Alfred Price (Rosemary), Anthony Price (Sandra), Vincent Price and Clarissa Price; her brother-in-law, Melvin Hatcher, her special "brother and sister" Ronald and Celeste Warren and a countless host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends
