Kahtia Brown-Cook Obituary

Kahtia Mignon Brown Cook made her debut into this world on July 22, 1992. She was a gift from God to very thankful parents, Dennis Bernard Cook, who preceded her in death and Paulette Rosetta Cook. Kahtia was a beautiful baby who loved her Father, Dennis, to infinity and beyond. He would sing songs and she loved every minute of it, just smiling and laughing. What as beautiful site and an unbreakable bond.

Kahtia started school at an early age. She was a very smart girl, she know all of her colors and numbers. Kahtia attended Westwood school district for elementary, Willow Run for middle school and Robichaud High School, where she graduated with the class of 2010. Kahtia met her high school sweetheart Jamal Clark while attending Robichaud. Shortly after graduating, Kahtia and Jamal brought their blessing into the world: Julian Clark aka King Julian.

Kahtia was loved by many; everyone she met became family, Kahita was baptized at an early age and she loved the Lord. She loved to sing, She sounded like an angel. Two of her beloved songs were, Open my heart by Yolanda Adams and My Eye is on the Sparrow from Sister Act 2, Lauryn Hill version. Everyone loved to hear her sing and when she didn't get the notes, her mother would often call her Godmother Leslie Anthony to help. This made them very proud, job well done Kahtia.
In 2018, Kahtia joined Elohim Kingdom ministries where the whole family came into the Kingdom of God. As a family, they wee met with love, kindness and the opportunity to learn how the allow God to guide their steps. Her hobbies were singing, talking on phone, having praise and worship with her children, handing with her family and best friends, taking pictures, dancing and shopping on Amazon. Kahtia was the life of the party and always kept everyone laughing and smiling. She was the picture taking Queen, never forgetting to capture the moment.

Kahtia met the love of her life, William Jones, 10 years ago and started a family. They ere like any young couple, ups and downs but through it all, they remained together for love and their children. Kahtia and Will were the definition of sould mates. They loved to spend family time with their children. They often all piled up in their bed to have family movie night. Kahtia worked many jobs and finally found the one she loved the most, working for Nintendo as a support technician. She learned the job quickly and became number 7 out of the 10 technicians nationwide to receive an daward. She was proud of this achievement.

Kahtia was preceded in death by her grandmothers Betty Williams, Lilla Williams and Vera (Grandma) Harry. Her uncles Adam Williams and Terry Greene and her brother Jamal Harry, Kahtia leaves to cherish her memory; 4 children, Julien Clark, Isreal Cook, Nymiah Jones, Nayana Jones, a loving mand and father to their children, William Jones, her Mother Paulette.
