Mr. Frank Mallard

Frank Mallard was born February 16, 1944 in Lowndes County, Alabama, to Moses and Bertha Mayes Mallard. To this union nine children were born. Four siblings and a son-preceded him in death, AC, Charles Sr., Willie Neil, Nancy Mallard-Carter and Michael.

Frank married Pearl and raised a beautiful family of four boys; Fredrick "Fred" (Regina), Sheron "Ron" (Kimberly), Derrick (Angel), Michael and one daughter, his baby girl, Sharon "Shell" (Knolly, Sr.).

He moved his family to Michigan in the 1970s. Frank was employed at the Wayne Assembly Plant, a division of Ford Motor Company for 34 years. He retired around 2009. Frank was a member of Middlebelt Baptist Church in Inkster, Michigan, serving in the Men's Ministry. He loved singing with the Male Chorus and was fondly known for his grits served at the men's breakfast.

Frank leaves to cherish many wonderful memories: his loving wife, Pearl Mallard, whom he loved 56 years, four children, 2 daughters-in-laws, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eugene and Moses Jr. (Flora) of Anniston, AL, Elizabeth of Alexandria, AL, and Archie of Dayton, OH. There are many nieces, nephews, and others who called Frank, friend.
