Eldridge Hollings Obituary
Eldridge Lynn Holling was born to Venetta and Elderidge Herring on December 2nd, 1974.
Eldridge went to Holcomb Elementary School, were he learned to play saxophone and Emerson Middle School. He also went to Redford School were he excelled in ROTC. In 1989, while still at Redford his love and obsession with Hip Hop, EL and Damon started the group Flipside, which included Chris, Knowledge, Byron, Reggie, and later Boonie, together they created greatness. Later years Eldridge rapped under the name NEFARIOUS.
Eldridge went to Everest trade school for computer engineering.
Eldridge joined the Hotspot Rollers in 2018. He accepted the title of Road captain, which he took this role very seriously. He was the protector, making sure all the riders were safe. He helped block the street & stop traffic when necessary, whether it was fixing a flat tire or any other mechanical issue with the bikes. El will forever be HSR Bolo, their brother, their protector and their friend.
Eldridge became a minister his organization was called "The Truth". El studied has family history and became a "Moor".
El fathered 3 children (Lauren Pascoe, Eldridge Lynn Hollings Jr., and Rayel Hollings) and was a God father to 1 (Emmanuel).
Eldridge leaves to mourn is grandmother (Muriel Berry) his mother (Venetta Woodward), his sister (Elizabeth Hollings), his children (Lauren Pascoe, Eldridge Lynn Hollings Jr., and Rayel Hollings), his granddaughter Cynthia, hosts of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a whole world of friends.
