Deshawn Maurice Young was born on February 4, 2002 to La'Shawn Young and Larry Vaughn in Wayne, Michigan.
Deshawn the oldest of his mother's five children, most recently attended Central High School in Battle Creek, Michigan as a junior. Despite the struggles with his health due to acute asthma, he still enjoyed playing around outside in activities such as basketball and football. There was never a dull moment when he was around as he was always a ball of energy.
Deshawn made his transition on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Annapolis Hospital in Wayne, Michigan.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and stepfather, La'Shawn and David Jackson; father Larry Vaughn, siblings Shawntel, Tayshawn, Marshawn, Shawntaleah Young, David Jr., Daveon, Denea, Charlotte, Savannah Jackson, Talera, Renee and Tristian Vaughn, grandparents, Milton and Angela Young and Wanda Alexander as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends to love an honor his memory.
