Mr. Charles Wiley

Charles Alfonso Wiley was born to Eva Ruth and Lemon Wiley on April 12, 1945 in Cortland, Alabama.

He graduated from Davidson Academy in Tullahoma, TN. He later attended Lane College in Jackson, TN where he played basketball. After completing 3 years, he was drafted to the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He returned home and began working at Aero in Tullahoma, TN. He later moved to Inkster, MI. Charles met and married Shirley Jean Steverson in 1972.

Charles worked for Western Electric and the Inkster Public School System. After retiring, his health took a turn down hill in 2011, therefore leaving him to be taken care of by his loving wife.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Shirley Wiley; one daughter, Shanta' Wiley; one grandson, Justin Davis; two sons, Charles Corn and Tracey Corn, who preceded him in death; one brother, Sonny, who also preceded him in death, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
