Jacon and Annette worked hard to support their family. Jacob worked for Ford for 50 years and Annette worked for Wayne County for two decades. In their spare time they could be seen driving through the city in their classic car together. There were a number of things that brough joy to Annette. Her love for God, her children, and flowers. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in June of 1974, and she remained faithful to her death.
Annette loved her children very much. The following is her inspirational message to them: You are the best part of my life. I will always love you. I have not been perfect but will always cherish having you as my wonderful children.
