Wynell Chatmon Obituary
Wynell Chatmon affectionately known as "Nell" was born in Inkster, MI on October 24, 1954. This was a joyous occasion for her parents Robert and Mary Stubs as they welcomed their second youngest child of thirteen children. Wynell was named after the nurse taking care of her mother at Beyer Hospital.
A product on the Inkster Public School system, she graduated from Inkster High in the class of 1972. Nell's passion for styling hair and encouraged her to obtain her cosmetology license. She began her career at Hudson's, which is now known as Macy's. She serviced clients until her health began to fail.
Nell married Frederick Chatmon on July 28, 1979. From this loving union two children were born Frederick Chatmon II and Ja'Nay Chatmon. Nell accepted Christ at an early age at Amity Baptist Church d served as a dedicated member this church in several roles; She sang in the choir when she was younger and later directed the choir when she got older. She taught children's church, Sunday school, Vacation Bible school, and youth Bible class.
Well descended to her rightful position as one of the Lord's angels on Thursday February 7, 2019 at the tender age of 64. Nell is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary Stubbs, her husband Frederick Chatmon, and on Frederick Chatmon Jr.
She leaves to Cheris her memory: her daughter Ja'Nay Chatmon, four brothers, three sisters; three uncles, three aunts, six sister-in-laws, for brother-in-laws, two best friends, one God son, a special nephew , and a host go nieces, nephews, cousins, snd friends.
