Waneeta Spencer Obituary
Wanetta Spencer was born the 4th child to the late Al and Lillian Allen on January 23, 1934 in Inkster, MI.
She was baptized at an early age at Second Baptist Church. In her 11th and 12th grade year she was the church secretary.
She attended and graduated from INkster Public Schools. She was joing in holy matrimony to Roy Conway Spencer on Noverember 28, 1953 by Rev. Poole. To this union were born one daughter, Terri and three sons; Roy Leon and Randy Spencer.
She worked as a Radiation Therapy Technician at Wayne County General Hospital. Late she worked and retired from the Wayne County jail as a Xray Technician.
She enjoyed the hobbies of crocheting, square dancing and quilting. She also enjoyed spending the summers in her summer home in Idlewild, MI.
On May 25, 2021 she departed this life at the Regency in Westland. He beloved husband Roy and sons Rory and Leon preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters Alene Betty (Donald) Harris and Audray Davis (Larry) Hicks, her loving daughter (Purvis) Mattison, son Randy, a special friend Ms. Golden, three grandsons, ten great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
