Fulton Von Washington was born on February 5, 1935 to the late Joe Washington Sr., and Elmira Robinson in Memphis, Tennessee.
Fulton married Sharon Kathleen Atwood. He was employed as a drug counselor for many years and eventually opened his own business. He so enjoyed it, he would often work late into the night. In addition to owning a business, Fulton was an Auxiliary Police Officer for the City of Inkster and also earned a degree from Madonna University.
Fulton was a loving father and loved helping people. Biking was his passion and he was an avid bike rider.
Fulton made his transition on Sunday, May 5, 2019. He is survived by daughters, Kidada and Tracy; sons, David and James; seven grandchildren, Fabrice, Jada, Mercedes, Devon, Chloe, Travonna, and Amara; sister, Gladys Burns of Inkster, Michigan and brothers Mose Washington of Inkster, Michigan and Miles Washington of Inkster, Michigan as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
