Veronica Barber

Veronica "Vicki" Barber was born in Salisbury, North Carolina to Harvey Lee and Lucille Barber on June 22,1958. As a child Veronica attended Bronx, New York public schools. Late the family moved to Inkster, Michigan where she attend Westwood School district. Vickie graduated from Inkster High School. In 1976, she received her certificate in cosmetology. Vickie grew in Christ at a tender age and attended Amity Baptist Church of Inkster, Michigan. She worked as a hairstylist for sevreal years. Vickie alway took care of others whether she was having a good or bad day. Vickie enjoyed being involved in the community; The Robichaud alumni and Shake a real man hand organization.

Vickie had a beautiful spirity, her heart was pure. Her smile was so bright she could light up the night. Vickie took pride in her fashion, she was a Fashion Diva, and man could she cook!

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents; Harvey and Mary Barber, her son Brian Winfrey and on special son; Daris Marshall.

Vickie is survived by her daughter; Clohe Winfrey; her son Jermaine (Dazania) Byrd.
