Towana Massey Obituary
Towana Marie Massey was born to the union of Frank and Tozerra Massey February 11, 1976 in Westland, Michigan which blessed the Benson and Davis family with the 5th generation of love.
Towana accepted Christ at an early age, as a child Towana lived in Detroit, Michigan and at the age of 14 she moved to Inkster, Michigan where she was raised by her great aunt Elvie Beaumont until the age of 19.
Towana earned her GED and became a certified phlebotomist, all while maintaining her employment at American Jetway Corporation since July 1996. Towana worked as a packager on the production line in the beginning and eventually learned and took on the role of Crew Leader. Towana was a very dedicated and knowledgeable worker and in 2012 would be promoted to the position of Production Manager, and soon thereafter, Director of Manufacturing.
Towana was a VALUABLE part of American Jetway's team for the 25 years that she was employed. She was everyone's favorite coworker. During that time she built a true loving bond with her boss Jan, her workmom as Towana affectionately called her.
In 1994 Towana met Andre Grace Sr. and in 2000 they welcomed a handsome son Andre Grace Jr., the two later married in 2003, then divorced in 2005. Andre Grace Sr proceed her in death.
Towana later met Lee Allen Kewley and during that love union in 2008 they welcomed a beautiful baby girl Sianna. Her children were her everything.
Towana leaves to cherish her memory her loving children Andre and Sianna, her parents Frank & Tozerra, 2 brothers Darren Massey (Leah), Adrian Massey (Daniele), 1 sister Toya Taylor (Justin), grandmother Velma Davis, Godson Lamar Watkins, 16 uncles, 6 aunts, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew and that special someone Joshua Murphy and a host of cousins, friends, and family.
Grandfathers Willie Massey and Ellie Redding, grandmothers Marie Massey and Juanita Redding, 7 uncles and 1 all preceded her in death.
