Sabrina Ann Taylor, also known as Tenichi, was born on April 18, 1955 in Gary, Indiana to the late Simon and Laverne Rice. On Thursday July 18, 2019, she was called home by her Lord and Savior.
Sabrina Taylor was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. She attended Martin Luther King Jr. High School. Sabrina later moved to Detroit, Michigan, where she further her education and became a LPN. Throughout her nursing career, Sabrina worked at various hospitals throughout Michigan. Sabrina retired from Oakwood Main in Dearborn, Michigan.
When she moved to Detroit she met Carl Taylor. They were married for 20 years.
Sabrina accepted God in her life under the pastorate of Pastor Eddie Marcum at River of Life in Belleville, Michigan. She was an active member of River of Life where she attended faithfully until her death. Where everyone loved coffee. Sabrina was known for her loving heart, quick wit, and her devotion to God. She loved to bake especially known for her famous chocolate cake known as "chocolate cake".
She was preceded in death by her loving son, Michael Graham, four brothers: Willie Richard, Alfred, Ronnie, and Baby William, and one sister; Karen.
Sabrina Ann "Tenichi" Taylor leaves to cherish her memories: husband Crl Taylor, one son James (Christie) Foreman of Westland, Michigan, five daughters, Tanesha (Gerald) Rosser of Wayne, Michigan, Carla (Mekell) Banks of Aurora, Colorado, Lashawna Chavis of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Rachel Taylor and Sakeeta Gipson both of Wayne, Michigan. She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren: Sean, Christopher, Anthony, Brittany, Sarah, Tomea Joy, Micah, Mychole, Nalise, Treshon, Maia, Gerald Jr., Brittany, Nicole, C.J., Jeovan, Monique, Fineona, MeLa, Lakella, Jonesse, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 sister: Susan (Sherman) Evans, 4 brothers; Kenny (Stephanie) Rice, Kirby (Toi), Kerry (Sharnita) Rice and Lawrence Rice, 2 special friends Anita and Robin.
