Robert Charlton Robb was born on March 25, 1955 in Inkster, Michigan to the late James and Ilisha Robb. He was the fifth born child to this union. His parents and his siblings, James Jr., Manella (Louise), Carol, Edred (Dell) and Mario all preceded him in death.
Early in his life, Robert accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Robert became a member at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Westland, Michigan under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. John E. Duckworth; a church where he joyfully served on the nurse's ministry and loved deeply until his death.
Robert was educated in Inkster Public School in addition to attending Robichaud High School in Dearborn, Michigan. He ultimately received G.E.D which he was very proud of. Robert was employed in various industries throughout his adult life, but his most effectual work came in the form of his dedication to family.
Robert was an avid fan of old western cowboy television shows. He enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards, singing Motown hits, spending time with his grandchildren, traveling to the Dominican Republic and dressing debonair!
For all who knew "Robbie", knew he was a loving father, a doting grandfather, and a great friend to all. He received his wings and was called home to be with his heavenly family on March 16th, 2020 with his loving family near his side.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters Nyesha Harris and Lorraine Robb; two grandchildren Lela Scott and Justin Harris; one sister Fanny (Robert) Walker; Nicole Hunter Harrison and Leshonee St. Clair who he loved as his own daughters; special friends who traveled life's journey with him, like Sheila St. Clair and many others! Robert also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Robert will remarkably missed by all who knew and loved him.
