    Rhonda Washington

    January 12, 1966 - May 5, 2020

The Obituary Rhonda Yvonne Washington Rhonda was born on January 12, 1966, to the union of the late Mr. John Davis and Mrs. Evelyn Davis in Blytheville Arkansas. Rhonda was the eldest of four children. Rhonda was indeed raised in the admonition and fear of the Lord and when she reached the age of accountability, she confessed her belief in Christ Jesus and made Him Lord of her life and united with the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church in Inkster, Michigan under the leadership of Rev. T.C Spann and then under the leadership of Rev. Kenneth C. Pierce. Rhonda was educated in the Westwood Community School District where she graduated from Robichaud High School in 1984. Rhonda was employed with the Wayne County Road Division as a District Manager for 30 years. On Tuesday, May 5, 2020, Rhonda moved from her earthly house and moved into her Heavenly Home, now she is at peace and at rest in the Lords comforting arms. Precious memories of Rhonda shall forever live in the hearts of her family and friends. Celebrating her homegoing is her three loving children: Jerel Davis, Marc Washington II and Marquel Scott, one sister Anastasia Davis, two brothers John Davis and Marco Davis, five beautiful grandchildren: Ny-Lasia Davis, Jerel Davis II, Sincere Davis, Makenzie Mitchell and Kainan Davis. Godchildren: Tahitia Roberts, Imari Bates, Michael Bates (deceased), Sharmise Franklin, Brittany Mitchell, Bianca Mitchell and Daz’asia Davis, and a host of many special friends, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Acknowledgement of Appreciation The family of the late Rhonda Yvonne Washington acknowledges, with sincere appreciation, your understanding, your prayers, and all acts of kindness shown at this time of bereavement.
