Rayvon Baker, Known as "Ray" was born on February 8, 1959 in Brundidge, Alabama to Alto and Mattie Baker. Rayvon was the second oldest of five siblings.
He attended Inkster Public School System, graduating in 1979. Throughout most of his life, he obtained employment with the sanitation department.
On October 15, 1982, one of his greatest accomplishments was born, Raymond Tyrone Grant. Ray loved spending time with his family and also took pleasure in going to the park and sitting by the water.
Ray was very outspoken and straight forward. One thing we will miss about him is his tell it like it is attitude.
After a short battle with an illness, on March 22, 2021, Ray made his transition home. Life is brief, but love is forever.
Ray leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Raymond Tyrone Grant; grandson, La'len Lee Machey; parents, Alto and Mattie Baker; brother, Altoney Baker; three loving sisters, Teresa Matthews, Patricia Baker-Bryant and Tracy Baker as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
