Raymond Hatcher Obituary

Raymond Delano Hatcher was born June 21, 1959 in Eloise, Michigan to Carolyn E. Hatcher (French) and Raymond D. Lawrence who preceded him in death. Step-Father John French also who preceded him in death. Raymond D. Hatcher also known as Dino attended Inkster Public Schools. he was excellent in all sports. He was well known, outgoing, comical and a sharp dresser.

Raymond was raised in Inkster, he loved animals, cars, and music. Raymond was well known for giving nicknames to every kid he encountered; he may not have known your name, but he remembers the one you were given.

In June 1988, Raymond Hatcher was attending an outreach service in Demby Terrace Center lead by Evangelist Teresa Moton (now Dr. Teresa Moton) through Greater Grace Temple of Taylor, Bishop Gary Harper. It was in this outreach Raymond was baptized in the Name of Jesus and received the Holy Ghost. He later became a member of Greater Works Deliverance Ministries. Raymond departed this life on May 31, 2017. Raymond leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life; his loving wife Colleen Hatcher; Son, Tarikh (Sherita) Hunter; Daughters Katia (John) Blackman, G'enet Hammons; Step-children, Ebony (Robert) Bonslayer, Tyrone (Ramona) Lofton, Nakita (Andre) Barnes, Erica Lopez; Sisters Bridget (Darrin) King, Natalie (Isaac) Dixon, Wendy French, Sandra French, Shawania French, Jacqueline Hatcher, Babette (Darrin) Gordon; Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles and a host of family and friends.
