Manella Robb Obituary
MANELLA LOUISE ROBB was born on May 20, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late James and Ilisha Robb. She was the second eldest child. Her partner Thomas Wells, siblings Jimmy, Dell, Mario and Carol preceded her in death.
Early in life Louise accepted Christ under the leadership of the Rev. Hampton and the Second Baptist Church of Inkster.
Louise was educated in the Inkster Public Schools where she graduated in the class of 1964. After graduation, she was a caregiver for some time before returning to the Inkster Public Schools where she worked with the Transportation Department until her health declined and she retired. All the kids remembered and respected Miss Louise.
After retirement, Louise enjoyed time with her family, especially the annual Rob/Pernell picnic. When able, she enjoyed fishing, baking, her trips to Las Vegas, as well as her monthly trips to Sams Club and Glory Supermarket. That's what brought her joy.
Although Louise was never blessed with children of her own, she was a second mother to many.
For all who knew Louise, knew her love for butterflies. She received her wings and was called home to be with her heavenly family on January 21, 2018.
Louise leaves to cherish her memory, one brother Robert Robb; one sister, Fanny (Robert) Walker; Sandi Hardict, Terri Sledge and Lorraine Robb, who were like daughters to her; special friends who always made sure she made it to her dialysis and doctor appointments, shopping trips, and that she as well taken care of while traveling; Letitia Minfield, Ollie McGinnis, and JoAnne Blanding. We love you and will never forget all the love and support you showed for our sister and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Louise will truly be missed by all.
