To My Beautiful Family I love each of you, and the joy that you have brought into my life. No matter how big or small the part, you allowed me to contribute to your life journey, and I Thank You. But this is what I want you all to remember about me: Although I was treated like a Queen on my 100th Birthdate, it doesn’t matter what date I was born, nor the City or State. My mother and father were Christians who served the Lord all the days of their lives. They taught me and my siblings to follow their footsteps. The love that we shared was true. It’s irrelevant where I attended school, and where I have worked and how long I served at Union Second Baptist it’s all in the past. My marital status, the how long, when, where and if we had children, how long I was a Sunday school teacher...are all insignificant. Just know that I had an enjoyable blessed life, and we made each other happy. Now this is relevant. I loved and served the Lord with all of my heart, mind, and soul. Whatever missions that the Lord gave me, I worked to fulfill. I believed in bringing joy to others and helping as many people as God sent my way. God granted me a full and joyful life, and He gave me family and friends. I leave cherished memories to my loving host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Oh, one more thing, remember history will always show that I am Lottie M. White-Smith. Fat, Fine, and Fabulous … And know this ... The one who loves me most, and knew me best, has called me to Rest...
