Lonnell was a very kind big hearted gentleman that would give the shirt off his back. Just a gentle soul, a good man. If you needed anything he had it. He could tell all the sales at the stores and had any coupons yous needed. He touched so many people with his smile and "distinguished" laugh that would make you laugh.

He loved him some chicken wings and butter me not biscuits were one of his favorites. His snacks that was a must. Lonnell loved his boys & grand-kids. That was all he talked about, they wee his heart and soul.

Lonnell was a peaceful man. He was a lover not a fighter. he would talk to you until you understood what he was talking about.

Lonnell loved to travel, as he would tell you he's been to Las Vegas 13 times. He waned to travel the world and go back to Vegas 1 more time, but the Lord had a different plan for him.

One of his favorite things to do was go to the parks and concerts. He loved music, different genres of music and played the heck out o the percussions with his bands. He played with Sonny Freeman and the Unusual's.

Lonnell hastwo special women in his life, Ms. Evelyn Wright and Ms. Sarah Tate. He loved his boys, brothers and sister. He was the matriarch of the family and held everything together. He lived life to the fullest. A few months ago, he re-dedicated his life to the Lord. He was such in good spirits, you never would have known he was sick. After battling a long illness, God was tired of his child suffering. He needed him to come home his wings. (Lonnell has gotten his wings).
