Lisa Ann Hendrix was born on August 19, 1970 to Emanuel and Rudolfine Hendrix...the youngest of their six children. Her four oldest siblings Emanuela (Mausi), Rudolf (Rudy), Freman, and Roger..ranged from seventeen to twenty three years older. At this point, they had left home for college, careers, military service, and marriage and families of their own. Lisa was raised in the home with her sister Terese (Teri). It was during this time she first bonded with her nephew David who with Teri was six years her senior. The family dynamic is significant because it reinforced her role as the baby sister who was beloved and adored by her family. Lisa admired and revealed in all the doings of her siblings and they enjoyed including her.
Learning was important to Lisa and she excelled academically throughout her school years. At Romulus High School, Lisa was active and involved and well liked. She was an officer in her graduating class in 1988.
As much as Lisa loved and adored her parents and siblings, it was her nieces and nephews who had her heartstrings beginning with that long ago bond forged with nephew David. She showered them with attention, affection, unconditional love and acceptance and as her niece Tristyn said she was like "a best friend, second mom, confidant, and auntie all rolled into one".
When Lisa departed this earthly life on August 24, 2019 she was welcomed by he beloved daddy and brother Roger.
She leaves a legacy of love here with her mother (Oma) and siblings, Emanuela (mausi), Rudy (Kristina), Freman (Elaine), and Terri (Tim); nieces and nephews; David (Yolande), Krista (Rodrick), Erin (Chad), Brett, Stephen (Jenni), Teryn, Tristyn and Timothy.
Next generation: Chloe, David Jr., Kylee, Cameron, Adriana, Raven, Colin, Cas, and Joseph.
