Lillie Mary Beeman was born on June 22, 1945 in Marianna, Arkansas to the parents of Jennie B. Farmer and Lonnie Harden. She was the second of eleven siblings. She attended Forest City High School and later worked as a nurse. Lillie (nicknamed "Candy") was a real "diva" who loved to dress up, sing, and could really cut a rug with her dancing. She was well known and loved by everyone. Lillie had a smile that could brighten up a room which attracted an abundance of friends. You could talk to Lillie about anything. She was always willing to take time to listen and pray for you.
Lillie accepted Christ at an early age. Lillie moved to Michigan in the early 70's. She would later meet her husband, Glen Beeman and they shared vows on June 22, 1973. They were the real definition of soulmates. After marriage, Lillie rededicated her life to Christ as a member of Amity Baptist Church. Lillie loved the Lord. In the 80's, she joined Nehemiah Word of Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Felton Harris. She continued being a faithful member of the church, serving the Lord under the leadership of Pastor Rachelle Gibson. Lillie was an active member of the church and served in the choir.
Lillie leaves to cherish in her memory her children; Reshell, Douglas (Carol), Linda, Rickey, Glen (Beatrice), Telvey, Keniela, her siblings Mary Lue, Michael, Carolyn, Leola, Alfred, Erwin, Wanda, Sherry, Loretta, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, Siva, Robin, Tierra, cousins, Linda and Marcus, grandfather Henry Farmer, aunt Margaret, and step-father Ernest.
