In her early years of development Kyra was stricken with Junior diabetes that would leave her mildly impaired. Kyra’s love for God and the love for her children would keep her in the fight for life. She was not the type of person that would let anything keep her to accomplishing her goals. As a child, Kyra would attend church with her parents Harrison Road Church of God in Christ later to become Pentecostal Temple in Inkster under the leadership of the late Bishop Isaac King Jr., and currently Elder Kellen Brooks.
