Joyce Myrick Obituary
Joyce Elaine Myrick was born April 7, 1937 to Thomas Wilson and Glenna Gyett at Herman Kiefer Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She departed this life on June 17, 2020.
Joyce attended Detroit Public Schools, graduating from Pershing High School in 1955. She met Mr. Allen Myrick in 19524 at Pershing, where they both attended. They were married in November 1956. To this union, two children were born, Darryl Keith Myrick and Glen Allen Myrick Sr. Joyce was employed at AM General in Livonia, Michigan.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Darryl and Glen; daughter-in-law, Sharmell Myrick; ten grandchildren, Lakeidra, Kentredick, Glen Jr., Jerminek, Nikeem,DeJanee, Jakarri, Cassandra, Faith Lee, and Spirit; great grandchildren, Rishaya, Riyanna, Rinaye, Ricardo Jr., and G'anni, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
