Joseph Oliver Parkman Sr. was born on March 31, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1960, Joseph Parkman was united in holy matrimony with Opal Jean Hall. To this union four children were born: Letitia L. Parkman, Monica V. Parkman-Walker, Joseph Oliver Parkman Jr. (JoJo) and Tina L. Parkman. Two granddaughters: Malika Walker & Tia Jackson.
Joseph was a very dedicated and good father to his children and many others. He later in life from his companion of over 30 years Donna was assigned to set of twins Shayla Marie Parkman and Jermaine Joseph Parkman, who he vowed to God after a complicated delivery if he let them live by covering them, that he promised to take care & love them.
Later into adulthood he inherited a daughter Sharde Robinson and some time after daughter Deja Parkman was born. Sharde gave him three more grandchildren whom he embraced (their Papa).
Joseph found the Lord later in life during his last days and end of life of pain and end to begin. This is where he accepted the Lord in his life and was saved in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He took his 1st communion on June 10, 2018 and began his spiritual journey until he departed this life and went from Earth to glory on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11:53pm. (Mission Accomplished)
His parents, William D. Parkman Sr. and Odessa Parkman; three brothers: Oliver, Stanford, Allen, and one baby sister Lavera Preceded him in death. He leaves to rejoice in his memory from his first union, three daughters: Letitia, Monica, Tina, and one son Joseph Oliver Parkman Jr., and two granddaughters: Malika & Tia; two brothers: William & Melvin Parkman; his extended family of whom he covered: his companion Donna, the twins Shayla & Jermaine, Deja, & Sharde and her children.
