On Tuesday morning October 3, 2017 Johnnie Marie Zirker 71, of Inkster Michigan answered the master's call at Henry Ford Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1946 to the late John E. Taylor McCoy, Sr. and Marian Marie McCoy. She was preceded by death by her step mother Annie McCoy, three sisters Vernia C. West, Annie D. Christian, Mary O. Garris, and two brother in-laws Theodore Ferguson, James J. Christian, mother in-law Lee Anna Zirker, and father in-law John Morgan Zirker.

At an early age Johnnie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined the Lawyers Chapel Baptist Church in Rustburg Va.

Johnnie was educated at Campbell County High School of Rustburg VA., and she also attended Wayne County Community College for Nursing. She was employed by Goodwill where she worked as a vocational trainer for 15 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Zellner Zirker of Inkster MI; her one and only son Terrance (Lisa) Burrell of Romulus, MI; one brother John (Cathy) Taylor McCoy Jr. Ypsilanti, MI; two sisters Irene (Earl) Keith Inkster, MI, Yvonne Ferguson of Madison Heights, VA; three grandchildren, Jacques (Jasmine) Burrell, Sacha Burrell, Jordin Burrell; three great grandchildren; Czar Burrell, Zyair Daniels, Cruz Burrell; a devoted aunt Mrs. Catherine Burns of Rustburg, Va; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
