Johnnie Parnell Obituary
Johnnie B. Parnell was born in Sledge, Mississippi on April 27, 1929 to Willie B. Parnell; and Beatrice Hibler. Both parents preceded him in death. His mother departed this life before he was a teenager.
He attended Lakeview school in Falcon, Mississippi before moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan where her studied photography and started a photography business.
He retired from Ford Motor Company Wayne Assembly Plant after many years of service, after which he began buying and refurbishing houses in Detroit area. Some of his favorite past time hobbies were playing checkers, shooting pool and fishing.
He leaves behind his siblings: Willie B, Jr. and Ida Mae Parnell, and was preceded in death by siblings Alberta Clark, LeeVirgie Dumis, James and Henry Parnell. One son, Dennis Parnell, also preceded him in death.
He also ;leaves behind four children to cherish his memory Olivia Johnson, Clairessa Parnell, John Parnell and Latasha Chandler, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
