Jockque Kenneth London, affectionately known as "Jock" wasa born May 5th, 1959 in Wayne, MI., to Alma and Samuel M. London Sr. He was the 4th oldest of six siblings. He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Samuel M. London Jr.
Jockque moved to Durham North Carolina in 1999, where he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized in 2010.
He worked several jobs over the years from truck driving to manufacturing.
He received is education in the Westwood School system and graduated from Robichaud High School in 1978.
While living in Durham, Jockque married his sweetheart Vanetta Poole London who also preceded him in death.
He moved back to Inkster, MI., in 2014 to be with family.
Jock loved to cook and was good at it! He also had a love for sports, watching old movies and spending time with family and friends, cracking jokes and making memories.
Jock was very well known and loved by those who knew him. He love to shop and was known at the local establishments he frequented as "Ladies Man"
He leaves to cherish his memory 4 siblings, Michael (Tanja) London, Denise London, Dwayne London, Lawanda (Ned) Battle-Orr, One sister in law, Cynthia London, 1 aunt Kay Kimbrough and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, and one special friend Diana Davist.
