Jimmy Hanson Obituary
Jimmy Hanson was born on June 3, 1930 to Cap and Lola Hanson in Sharon, Georgia.
Jimmy attended Murden Junior High School in Crawfordsville, Georgia. He served in the Army during the Korean War. After his tour of duty was over, he relocated to Detroit, Michigan where he worked for General Motors Corporation until his retirement.
Jimmy was a member of Friendship CME Church. He also served as Superintendent of Sunday School at New Hope CME. Jimmy spent his pastime repairing televisions.
On March 7, 2018, at the age of 87, Jimmy parted this life. Preceding him in death were his parents, Cap and Lola Hanson, brothers, Jessie and Johnnie Hanson and sister, Loretha Wolfe.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories, brother, Willie Hanson; sister, Gaynell Bess; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, and other family and friends.
