Janetta Elaine Cooper was born to the proud parents of John Parker and Betty McSwain on February 27, 1956. She was the 2nd youngest of 6 children. Her parents, brothers William and John, and sister
Janetta attended the Detroit Public school system and graduated from Mumford High in 1974. Later after high school she went and pursue her certification in cosmetology and medical records billing at Mary Grove College. Janetta later ventured into self-employment with her husband Robert Cooper, which she continued to prosper in until her illness in 2012.
Janetta was affectionately known as "Judy" to family and friends. She had a warm laugh that was contagious and could fill the room.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Robert Cooper. She leaves to cherish 3 children; Kenneth Talton Jr. (Keisha), Bettye Johnson, and Corey Russell, 3 step-children, Dennis Shaffer, Vanessa Richardson, and Jarrod Robinson; 15 grandchildren; Faith, Destiny, Kenneth III, Nehemiah, Myesha, Malik, Justis Jordan, Journee, Cortez, Dennis Jr., Makayla, James, Sema'J, and Iyana. Two beautiful sisters Phyllis Montgomery and Charlotte Daniels, and one brother Robert Hill. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
