Jacolby Whitlow Obituary
JaColby Jobe Whitlow affectionately known as Colby; was born o July 3, 1998 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the fifth child from the union of Alger Luck and Mia Whitlow. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Alger Boone Sr., and Hattie Mae Lucky, D.C. Pearson, and Jacqueline Ann Whitlow, his great-grandparents, Woodrow Whitlow Sr. and Willie Mae Whitlow; six uncles, two aunts, along with other loved ones.
Colby was raised in Romulus, Michigan and was educated in Romulus Community Schools. He was a graduated of Old Redford Academy High School in Detroit, Michigan. Jacolby was christened at Glad Tidings Church of God in Christ as an infant and attended Bethel Deliverance Tabernacle International Church.
Colby was known throughout the Inkster and Romulus Communities for his refined fashion and that million dollar smile that could light up a stadium. JaColby had a fun-loving spirit, generous heart and an overwhelming love for his family and friends. Also, he had advanced athletics in basketball and football.
Colby was a former employee of a Prospect Air Services, Ford Motor Company in Flat Rock, Michigan, Delta Airlines and Penske Logistics. He has a fondness and special bond with his parents, sister and brothers. He enjoyed spending time and making memories with his family and friends until he departed this life, Thursday, November 26, 2020.
Colby leaves to cherish his memory to his father Alger Lucky and mother Mia Whitlow; siblings Pierre Lucky, Javin Whitlow (Monyea), JuJuan Whitlow, Demetrius Lucky, Asia Lucky, and Jarvis Whitlow. His grandmother Johnnie Mae Boone, five nieces,; Jasmine, Leah, Aniyah Lucky, Aliyah Chaney, Raonna Willis, five nephews: Jaden, Javeon, Jakiyan, Ta'kiyran Whitlow, and Jaceon Davenport. Seven Uncles: Roy, Nathaniel, Jordan, Willie Lucky, Alger, Jr. (Delores), Paul, Dawayn Boone. Ten Aunts; Annie (Joseph) Laney, Minnie (Thomas) Ross, Dorthy Lucky, Jean (David) Williams, Betty (Rayfield (deceased) Graves, Vonjna Mae Hill, Wendy (Jerry (deceased), Jackie (Greg (deceased) Coleman, Arshrainn (Joe (deceased) Cole, Tracey Pearson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
