Girard Bostic Obituary
Girard Bostic was born to the union of the late Hushiel Adams and Josephine Bostic on April 18, 1942. He transitioned from this earthly life on Monday, July 6, 2020, following a brief illness.
Preceding him in death: father, Hushiel Adams; mother, Josephine Bostic; brothers, Laverne Bostic Sr. and Keith Adams; sons, Girard (Rudy) Douglas Bostic and Girard (Hood) Bostic Jr; granddaughter, Helen Clark and niece, Janine Adams.
Girard attended Inkster Public Schools and was employed at Ford Motor Company and retired in 2007. He was then able to dedicate his time to buying houses, fixing them up and renting them out. He also enjoyed coin collecting. Girard took pride in his appearance; he was clean shaven, clothes ironed to the crisp, matching attire of shoes, hats, and accessories, with his rings and watches, oh and his Cadillac vehicles and his granddaughter, Shantequia keeping his hair up to his standards.
His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Janet (John) Tucker and the daughter he helped raise, Geri Castro (Mopsey), his only sister, Toni Neal; grandchildren: Shantequia (aka Tu-Sweet) Clark, Shawn Girard Patton, Girard Bostic III, Shavonne Lampkin, Cortez Bostic, Rai'Shon Bostic, Tyrikh Bostic, Dalontai Bostic and Travon Bostic; eleven great-grandchildren: Aaron Jr., Akayla, Aliayah, Christian, Andrew, Cortez Jr., Alyssa, Tyrikh Jr., Zo'rah, Arienna, Aspen, and Imaurri; nephews and nieces: Tonya Bostic, Tammy Taylor, LaVerne Bostic Jr., Dyhani Heninburg, Tony Adams, Zaire Hackney, daughter0in0law Adrian and his dear girlfriend of 13 years, Linda Bell, and a host of cousins, family and friends.
