We are mourning the lost of Edward Elthaton Hendricks Jr. born in Detroit to Edward Elthaton Hendricks Sr. and Della Me Watson Hendricks on December 29th, 1957. To make things better for the family they moved to Inkster in 1964. He knew God at an early age. His parents made sure that he and his sister went to Sunday school at Second Baptist Church in Inkster before it changed to Cathedral of Faith. Edward went to Federal Elementary School and continued thru the Taylor School District until he graduated from Taylor Center High. During his time at school he played different sports and was in Boy Scouts. Edwards first job was working at Kroger's grocery store as a bagger and stocker. One day his Aunt Pecolia was ready to return home to California being the kindhearted person he drove her home from Michigan. He decided to stay in California but needed to work. His Uncle JD took him under his wing for a trade in plumbing which he made a profession out of. While living in California he met a lady named Regina Blair in which they had a child by the name of Deboni. Deboni and Brandon Baker made him a Grandfather to three grandsons DeVon, DeShaun, Derian. After 15 years in California he decided to move to Minnesota with his sister Linda and her family. Continue working in his trade, he met a man by the Tony Webber and became his Assistant. While working for Roter Router he attened Dunwoody College to obtain his Plumbing Certication. He later became a Master Plumber. Edward opened his company E & E Mechanical and later renamed Agape Plumbing. Keeping his faith, he attended multiple churches and became a member of St. Albans Church located in St. Paul with Pastor Land. Edward loved fishing, riding motorcycles and spending family time. Understanding the importance of family, he moved back home with his mother to help care for his father. Being saved he was at peace when God called him home. He leaved behind his mother Della Hendricks, daughter Deboni (Brandon) Baker, grandsons DeVon, Deshaun, Derian, sister Linda (Drake) McCreary nephews and nieces Somal McCreary, James McCreary, Drake (Kristy) McCreary II and Cameka (Benjamin) Ester. A host Uncles Aunts and Cousins. Preceded him in Death his father Edward Sr., Mother of his children Regina Blair, Grandparents, Uncles and Aunts.
