Brodrick Ward Obituary
Brodrick Albert Ward was born in Atlanta, Georgia at Grady Hospital on December 8, 1974 to Samuel and Betty Ward. Brodrick moved to Inkster, Michigan, at the age of six months with his parents and oldest brother David.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Samuel L. Ward and Thelma Ward; his father Samuel H. Ward; his grandmother Viola Powell.
At a young age, Brodrick was baptized on July 6, 1986 by Rev. Hardy Johnson at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Thorne Elementary and Robichaud High School. While attending Robichaud, he enjoyed playing in the band, playing his favorite instrument the saxophone. He also had a passion for football. He joined Robichaud Bulldogs in the early 90's. Following high school, Brodrick took interest in Culinary.
On November 18, 2017 Brodrick was called home by the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children Michelle, Brodrick Jr., and Sacha; his mother Betty Ward (also known to Brodrick as "B.J."); his siblings: David, Tangela, Samuel, Tim, Barbara Ann, Tammy, Lamar, and Cynthia and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
