Aside from being a mother, Bertha began her career at Killingbeck Nursing Home as head dietician. She then went on to work at Mary Crest Manor as head Kitchen Manager until her retirement. She loved cooking Sunday family dinners and we could always depend on her for a fresh press and curl. She enjoyed going fishing with Mr. and Mrs. Jackson even though she didn't like put the worms on the hooks. She also loved to barbeque whether it be sun or snow. Her presence with us will truly be missed.
