Aprill Baldwin Obituary
Aprill Michelle was the first daughter born to Thomas and Jacqueline Shepherd on July 28, 1976 in Augusta, Georgia. Throughout her childhood and adult life she resided in Inkster, MI.
Aprill received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was water baptized. She continued growing her relationship with God and faithfully fellowshipped at Word of Faith International Christian Center. She served in several ministries until her health began to decline.
Aprill graduated from Inkster High School in 1994. She went on to pursue and obtain a Bachelor's of Science degree with a concentration in Nursing. As a registered nurse she worked many years in the Emergency Room at Beaumont Oakwood Annapolis Hospital. She later transitioned out of the hospital setting, into an administrative role; performing delegated review, case management, and research for various health plans.
April was united in marriage to James Baldwin and to this union Avery Baldwin was born.
On March 16,2019, Aprill went home to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memories her paremts Thomas and Jackie; her husband James Baldwin; her son Avery Baldwin; her sisters Kerrii and Rachel; her aunts Avon and Pauline; her cousins Kelli, Alexis, Gabby, Cameron, Sherita, Alton Sr., Alton Jr., Kevin, Heaven, and Keith; and a host of loving relatives and friends. Her spirit and legacy will carry on in the hearts of those she touched with her compassion and love.
