Alicia Dodd Obituary
Alicia Lynette Dodd was born on August 15, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois to Alfonso and Katherine Ware. Alicia confessed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and remained a dedicated servant of God.
Alicia relocated with her mother to Detroit, Michigan in 1977. She graduated from Benedictine High School in 1990 and attended Eastern Michigan University. She worked as an account manager at Sentech Accounting and Job1 America until she resigned due to her health. Alicia loved her family and loved to help others. She especially enjoyed reading, writing poems and working. Alicia served faithfully in Children's Church ministry at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
Alicia was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Richard and Louesther Ware and maternal grandparents, Charlie and Virginia Gary.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Ronald S. Dodd; sons, Levante Hill and Lamar Hill; daughter, Erin Ware; father Alfonso Ware (Marjorie); mother Katherine Carlton; brother Gary A. Giles Sr. (Eugenia); sister Lesley Carlton; God brother, Renard Borner (Giovanna); niece Mykwanisha; nephews, Gary Jr. and Hykeem; special friends, Angie and Audrey as well as a host of other family and friends.
