Alice Brandon Obituary

Alice LaBorn Brandon was born on October 14, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Willie L. and Thelma LaBorn.

Alice gave her life to Christ at an early age. She became a member of Middlebelt Baptist Church where she remained a faithful servant foe forty years.

She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1964. Upon graduation, she went to work as "Kelly Girl" working for Kelly Services. She later went to pursue her career at Blue Cross Blue Shield as a clerk. During her time at Blue Cross, Alice was promoted many times eventually becoming a highly experienced Supervisor.

In 1980, she married Burt Brandon, who preceded her in death. In her spiritual life, she became a Sunday School Teacher and advanced to the position of Supervisor of the Children's Learning Center at Middlebelt Baptist, where she was an upstanding and faithful member until her death.

In addition to her husband Burt, her sister Stacie Davis and brothers, Brian E. Butler and Walter L. Porter preceded her in death.

Alice is survived by her oldest brother, Darrell D. LaBorn; younger sister Jazella L. LaBorn; niece, Amber Ellington; nephew Brandon Crawford; two great nieces and six great nephews; two lifelong sister/friends, Barbara Alexander and Kathy Nicks as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
