Ellery David Scott was born January 17, 1956, in Ypsilanti, MI. Ellery made his transition on March 29, 2024. His family that transitioned before him and welcomed him home was his mother and father, Marvin and Beatrice Scott (Solomon); his daughter Crystal M. Scott; and sisters and brothers: Maria, Ondrey, Terrance, Marvin, and Bethany Logan (Scott). He leaves two sisters, Diana Ward-Hunt and Jannetta (Scott) Logan; five brothers, Gregory (Jackie), Virgil, Aaron, Darrell, and Lawrence; a brother-in-law, Ralph Logan, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ellery began his early education at Beverly Elementary School in Romulus, Michigan. He attended Romulus Senior High School and graduated with honors. He was on the Jr. Varsity team (#30) in the early seventies, at Romulus High School. He served in the U.S. Military Armed Forces from 1975-1979, working on small engine repairs.
Ellery was well loved by the community. His service, as the Neighborhood Landscaper, was remarkably beautiful. He loved to work with horticulture and making the neighborhood look beautiful with his style of landscaping expertise. He also loved gardening. He is best remembered by his family and friends as a soft spoken, thoughtful, kind, and gentle soul.
After a long day of Landscaping, BOY! that Barbecue was delicious! What a beautiful and loving Brother. HEY EL! We Love you and miss you so much! So Much Love from your family and friends!
