Celester Warren Obituary

Celester Warren, a beacon of wisdom and love, departed this life on March 9, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on October 14, 1938, in Aberdeen, Mississippi, to the late Cleveland and Esther Peters. Celester's journey of life brought her to Wayne, Michigan, where she passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Celester was a woman of great faith and resilience, whose life was a testament to the strength and warmth of her spirit. She married the love of her life, Ronald Warren, on February 25, 1956, and together they built a foundation of love and memories that would last a lifetime. Though her heart ached from the loss of her brothers Oscar, Fred, and Rosco, sister Cle Esther, granddaughter Tia, and grandson Cordaro, Celester's love never wavered, and she sound comfort in the memories they shared.

A proud graduate, Celester earned her GED from Romulus High School, exhibiting her lifelong commitment to learning and self-improvement. Her work ethic was unmatched, as she dedicated many years as a general laborer, where she was respected and admired by her colleagues.

Celester's interests reflected her joyous and engaging personality. She found pleasure in the simple things in life-spending time with family and friends, cooking delicious meals that would bring everyone to the table, and losing herself in the pages of a good book. Her passion for sports was evident as she cheered on her favorite basketball teams, and she was a formidable opponent in a friendly game of dominoes.

Those who knew Celester best would describe her as wise beyond her years, a woman whose advise was sought after and cherished. She was loving in her actions, always putting others before herself, and her faith-filled nature provided a source of comfort and guidance for many.

Celester's legacy is carried on by her devoted husband Ronald, who remains a symbol of their enduring love. She leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.  Her presence was a gift, her laughter a melody, and her wisdom a guiding light.

As we bid farewell to Celester Warren, we celebrate a life lived with good intentions, kindness, and grace. She was woman who embodied the virtues of compassion and generosity, and her memory will continue to inspire those who were touched by her spirit.

In life, Celester was a beacon for her family, a steady presence in the lives of her loved ones. In passing, she leaves a void that can never be filled, but her influence will continue to be felt for generations to come. Her journey on this earth has concluded, but her story will be told with fondness and admiration.

Celester Warren's life was a beautiful reflection of the values she held dear, and her legacy will endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May we find solace in the knowledge that her spirit lives on, guiding us through the example she set and the love she gave freely. Rest in peace, dear Celester, until we meet again.

She leaves to cherish her memories, husband of 68 years Ronald, Seven sons: Ronald Jr. (Pam), Michael (Anna), Maurice, Kim, Kevin Anthony, Darrin (Tonya), 2 daughters, Wanda, Vernita, 32 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
