Ulysses Seales (aka "Tyrone") was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 25, 1955 to Jessie and the late Bennie Seales. Ulysses graduated from Chadsey High School in Detroit, Michigan. In January of 1974, he entered the United States Army and later received an Honorable Discharge for his military service.
Ulysses was employed by Kelsey Hayes and later worked as a truck driver. Later on, he went back to Washtenaw Community College for computer engineering. He loved working with his hands and would fix computers, taking them apart and rebuilding them.
Ulysses joined Burnette Baptist Church as a child. When his parents moved into the community, they were looking for new church home and they found Burnette Baptist Church. The first time that Ulysses went to Burnette, he asked his mother if he had to join the church. His mother told him no he did not have to join, but he had to go to church and Sunday school. That same Sunday, Ulysses joined the church. His mother later asked him why he joined, and he responded that something inside of him told him to join. He loved Jesus, and he loved to talk about God.
Ulysses met and married Elder Quo Vadis Felton. They are active members of Nehemiah Word of Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church.
