Percy Channey Obituary
Percy Darnell Channey was the fourth of five children to the late Percy and Charlotte Channey, on January 19, 1964 in Inkster, Michigan.
Percy ("Darnell", as called by most) attended Inkster Public Schools where he graduated from Inkster High in 1982. He went to serve in the United States Armed Forces, after which he attended Ross Medical School where he received his CNA certificate.
Percy worked for Wayne County Road Commission and then for Veterans Hospital. He loved helping others and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, Percy and Charlotte Channey, one sister Cynthia Channey preceded him in death.
Percy leaves to cherish his memories, three sisters, Charlene Aaron (Alfonzo), Carla Channey and Karen Channey; one uncle, Abraham Channey; five aunties, Barbara Stevenson, Edith Smith, Mattie Elliotte, Sally Channey, and Joyce Harris as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
