Oscar Nelson Obituary
Oscar Nelson was born on September 30, 1948 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to loving parents Ezell and Louistine Nelson, who preceded him in death. Oscar's life came to an end on Monday, February 19, 2018.
Oscar was the youngest of five children: Rozell, Johnezon (nickname DaDa), and Jerry who also preceded him in death.
Oscar's most enjoyable hobbies were working on cars and repairing and building anything that needed a motor. Building his own go car was one of his prize possessions. He loved the time spent with his children at the park, at family picnics, teaching them how to use his CB radio. He truly enjoyed letting his sons take pictures of him. He always had a smile on his face. He worked in the automotive industry for years to later retire from General Motors.
He leaves to cherish, his brothers: Robert (nickname Bobby); two daughters: Tonya Lewis (Demetrius) and Roxanne Best; four sons: Oscar Best (Crystal), Ranez Best (Donna), Christopher Nelson (Kianna), and Deleon Nelson. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
