Harold Beeman Obituary

Harold Lee Beeman was born on April 22nd 1949 in Anniston, Alabama. He was the eldest of ten (10) children born to the union of Obadiah Harold Beeman, whom preceded him in death, and Ella Mary Beeman. One of his sisters Cynthia Gale Beeman Graves also preceded him in death.

Harold attended the Anniston Alabama School System until his parents relocated to Michigan where he them attended Inkster High School. Later, Harold met and married Paula Hood and to this union was one son, Harold Lee Beeman Jr, whom preceded him in death. Harold and Paula would later divorce. Several years later after his divorce, Harold met Angela Booker Chaplin and together they had one son, Deon Lee Booker whom preceded him in death.

Harold was employed at General Motors where he worked for several years and later he also worked at Delaco steel plant and Absopure water plant. Due to Harold medical condition he was unable to retain employment or participate in many activities. He would occasionally come to the park to play softball with his family, where he really enjoyed himself and could really "hit a mean ball". He also enjoyed watching TV, especially old movies, where he spent most of his time.

Harold lost his fight with his medical condition of seizures on Saturday, May 5th when the Lord called him home.

Harold leaves to cherish his memory: His Mother Ella Beeman, his sisters and brothers; Mary Reeves (Terrance), Glen, Darek (Lerma), Beverly Mitchell (Lloyd), Marcus, Kathy Ervin (Michael), Deborah Grafton (Michael), and Michael (Toye). His grandchildren: Krissy, Jeremy and Deontay and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
