Gregory James Garrett was born on January 6, 1970. He was baptized at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, Inkster, Michigan on July 12, 1970 by Father Fred Williams. He was confirmed on March 4, 1979 by Father Peter P.Q Golden and soon became an acolyte under the guidance of Mr. Frank Elliott and Mr. Charley Bilberry.
As Greg became older. he became an active member of the Cub Scout Troop at St. Clement's. It was during this period that he was selected by TV Channel 7 to become an active participant on a weekly TV show for kids called "Daedal Doors."
After completing High School with a GED from the Taylor School District, he worked for several different automotive part suppliers. He soon decided that he wanted to become a commercial truck driver. After completion of months of truck driving school, he held positions with some of the major trucking companies in Michigan which included, Swift, Rush and EHS. This allowed him to travel through much of the Midwest, south, east coast and occasional trips to Canada.
Greg leaves to cherish his memory; a daughter whom he loved very dearly, Amari Mashawn Garrett and devoted parents, James and Dorothy Garrett and a host of close friends.
He departed this life on February 17, 2017. May his soul rest in peace! Previous Events Mass FEB 22.
